  NDLEA officials had raided some drug spots in Agege, Ikorodu, Lekki, Okokomaiko and other parts of the state, where they dismantled major drug syndicates and arrested suspects. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has arrested a man for supplying rich people in Lagos with cakes, biscuits and others produced with drugs. The man, who is the leader of the syndicate, was identified as Samuel Ebenezer. NDLEA officials had raided some drug spots in Agege, Ikorodu, Lekki, Okokomaiko and other parts of the state, where they dismantled major drug syndicates and arrested suspects.   A woman believed to be a commercial sex worker has been arrested by the police in Ebonyi state for allegedly trying to sell her baby for N40,000, IgbereTV reports. The 32-year-old woman identified as Victoria Chukwube, was arrested while trying to sell her four-month-old baby boy to raise money to start a business of selling drinks. Ebonyi state police spokesperson, Loveth Odah said Chukwube was arrested following a tip off. Odah said; “So her name is Chukwube Victoria, she told us she is a commercial sex hawker and that she has this baby which she carrying. “She said if she leaves here she would continue to look out for prospective buyers. “But we tried to talk to her and to make her see the value of being a mother, but she refused. “She even told us that if we allow her to go home with the baby she will throw the baby away and that she can’t tell who got her pregnant."   A yet-to-be-identified Greendale woman has been arrested after she was caught red-handed having sex with a 13-year-old boy at the teenager’s parents’ home in Houghton Park, Zimbabwe. The minor’s mother got the shock of her life when she returned home on Tuesday February 23, and caught her son being sexually abused by the woman. ­She immediately called the police, leading to the arrest of the accused.   The Ilorin and Kaduna Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on Thursday February 18, 2021 secured the conviction of two persons, Oyeniran Olamilekan and Umar Gambo for offences that border on internet fraud and impersonation. 28-year-old Olamilekan, an Electrician, was sentenced to six months imprisonment by Justice Adenike Akinpelu of the Kwara State High Court sitting in Ilorin on one count of internet fraud. Oyeniran was among the 33 internet fraud suspects arrested in Offa, Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State on September 15, 2020.   Man stabbed to death for leaking lady’s romance to husband A 25-year-old man, Victor Ikegwuonu, has been stabbed to death in Orlu zone, Imo State, for allegedly making a disclosure of lovers’ hot romance to the husband of the lady. According to a statement by the Imo State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Orlando Ikeokwu, Ikegwuono had allegedly told a 52-year-old Chijioke Anyiam that one Emeka Ezurike was in an illicit affair with his wife. This infuriated Emeka, who stabbed Victor to death.   Tragedy struck on Tuesday evening as gunmen attacked a bullion van, killing a police officer and two women at Ubulu-Okiti, along the Benin-Asaba expressway, Aniocha South local government area of Delta State. The Guardian learnt that the gunmen, numbering about 10, came out of a bush on sighting the bullion van and began shooting sporadically until the bullion van that was conveying raw cash to a new generation bank and the escorts stopped. It was learnt that the gunmen had a gun-battle with security personnel attached to the van but overpowered them and succeeded in killing a police officer and two women close to the scene, before making away with cash running into millions of naira. One of the women killed by stray bullet was a female passenger of a bus caught in the crossfire.
